Only after PRTA added this rule, many other servers that came up afterwards basically copy-pasted their ruleset and voilá, had this rule in. HOG and DPRC were the only servers not to succumb to this silly rule.
You know what's also silly seeing a techie roam around a single area roadkilling instead of helping the team with the current cap.

And the guy who started DPRC is now our lead admin. The new ruleset he has written (not yet in place) still forbids roadkilling.

Most the PR community has accepted that it makes more sense to ban it

Shouldn't be allowed to take vehicles with the sole intention of running people over with it but if there's a couple guys in front of your car when you go round a corner there's no issue splattering'em. When you start turning around to go back in again is where it becomes problematic.
dont get caught doing it on HOG, you don't have a proper understanding of the rule. We do NOT allow road killing if you are solely doing that, meaning, you are hunting for it. We do allow a helo to smash a guy if he is in the landing zone or a vehicle to run over someone that happens to be in your path.

Dont go looking for road kills, it is stupid and not allowed.

That's funny, because for the past 5 years I've never seen anyone get punished for it, not even when you report players doing it intentionally. A quick search of your server rules also yielded no results.

So idk if you're trying to make yourself look better or if you're just unaware.
VTRaptor: but i only stopped for less than 10 secs and that fucking awesome dude put 2 of them

]CIA[ SwampFox: well my definition of glitching is using an enemy kit to kill the enemy

Just_Dave: i have a list about PR players, and they r categorized by their skill

Para: You sir are an arse and not what the game or our community needs.

AlonTavor: Is that a German trying to make me concentrate?

Heavy Death: join PRTA instead - Teamwork is a must there.

Isn't he banned on the Realitymod forums too ? ^^

Also tell nico he can appeal to me directly. Do you want to get involved?

To me this seems like personal problems between you and Niko. Why can't he appeal like everyone else? Why must he talk exactly to you and only to you? Doesn't PRTA have multiple admins?

PRTA has multiple admins. However, at this point Fecht Niko is supposedly permanently banned. Without any ability to appeal, so the responsibility of unbanning him goes to me.

As was written in a PM sent to him when he was unbanned:
Dear fecht_niko,

Following your unban appeal; PRTA management has decided to unban you from the PRTA forums.

Your previous ban has been recorded and everything you do on the forum is being monitored, indefinitely. Any attempt at breaking rules or facilitating the breaking of rules on any of our services or on any other website will result in a permanent blacklist from all PRTA services, indefinitely.

You are being unbanned in the promise to not bring toxicity and a bad attitude to the PRTA community and PRTA website. We do not have any interest in petty drama and do not want that kind of culture within our community any longer. Your ban might have been from an older management and since your ban PRTA has come under new management, we would like to give you another chance in contributing to our community in one way or another.

You most probably have been banned from several other services at the time of your forum ban, if this is the case then you must appeal this publicly and the responsible teams will review your ban and will come to their own decision on this. This particular decision takes time to be discussed and we ask for your patience and cooperation in the down time after your appeal.

I hope to see you on the battlefield soon.

All the best, Chav.
After this he has even been given quite some leeway and chances with mistakes he has done, and rude comments that I chose to ignore... Undoubtedly, this is none of your concern, and you should leave this issue with me and Niko.. Noone else will be involved.

And I am sure we can sort this out ;)

I had a talk with Fech Niko, cleared a few things up.

He will be unbanned.

I had the impression he was attacking PRTA and me, while infact he was just having "fun", or what have you.. And yes I needed to talk to HIM to clear that up.

To sum it up, what I got the impression of in his posts where not his intention. A misunderstanding, in retrospect we both agreed to work on not misunderstanding each other and ensure that if there was a gest made in a joke that it was clear and to keep in touch more to ensure future cooperation.

Hopefully there won't be as many posts made by him in this manner in the future, and if that happens that I or anyone else do not become hypersensitive about this issue, and along with us being in regular contact we can straighten out any future misunderstandings quicker, instead of building up tensions.

Thank you all for the criticism pointed at my decision, and your support both ways. It is good to have a involved community that cares. As the issue is resolved I see I could do better in involving our moderator team in this, as they are the ones who are supposed to deal with these things.

A more present moderator team will allow me to not have to deal with these things personally, at that might come across as me power-tripping or being biased in issues. Which might be the case because I have a huge ego.

Thanks for reading

Everyone please note that we have updated the rules. They have been opened up a bit and are more clear now.

You can find them here: http://prteamwork.com/rules/prbf2/

Feedback, suggestion and hardcore flame about them go here: http://prteamwork.com/threads/new-rules ... ain.27764/

They might get some rewording, but shouldnt be changed in the near future unless some problems come up of course.

Imo roadkilling isnt an issue. Even when someone purposely roadkills. It is hard to define "going out of your way to roadkill" and rules like that. If someone really takes a vehicle *only* to do that, that is already covered by the rules. It is also hard to enforce in realtime.
