I was shot by an air to air missile but I never heard a tone. This happened on Hades (Tornado on Su-34) and Khamisiyah (Hornet on Su-22). It may also affect helis too since I shot two separate Hips and they did not flare.
EDIT: Black_Wolf looked in the files and found that it is mainly Russian/MEC aircraft that are missing the sound file
