Definitely keep us updated. I run Linux on my laptop and dual boot my gaming desktop. I only boot up into Windows for a select few games (Mainly PR & GTA).

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I would like to do this and I'm wondering if there was any progress on getting it all to work perfectly. Or should I give up my ambitions? Looking to run it on Fedora 27.

There's another initiative on Linux called "winepak". I've only read about it, but it sounds pretty alright. Perhaps not for now, but in the near future...?

This would be a nice solution to make it available for everybody once you get PR running under Wine. Sadly, due to the memory hacking done via the launcher and the binaries - it's not that easy to get it fully running. I was able to get PR to launch local coop. Further than that is a hard task.AfterDune wrote:There's another initiative on Linux called "winepak". I've only read about it, but it sounds pretty alright. - WPF is kinda working, so launching the Launcher is possible but still a bit buggy, even under the current version of wine and mono.
- The memory hacks to get Mumble to display who is talking in-game is not working at all.
- Mumble overall makes problems.
- Clientside memory edits are not tested.
I pick up this topic now and then and work on it again. But without access to the launcher it's a tedious task.
