Add canada

I kid I kid, I know its already been suggested which brings me onto my next suggestion lol.

Would it be possible to have 2 armys fighting on the same team? For example half of the team can be US and have the US skin's and weapons etc. The other half can be the same kits as above but be another countrys army.

So pretty much

MSPF - US
Rifleman - US
Grenadier - US
Rifleman Anti Personnel - US
JTF2 - Canadian
Rifleman - Canadian
Support - Canadian

Which would fill out the kit roles? Give the bottom 3 different skins, slighty diff models etc. Would that be possible?

Probably, I would imagine you would make a "combined" army like coalition and then mix n match soldiers.

I dono if you would be able to have 2 of the same class of different armies without cutting the total class selection in half.

I know you can change the names of the kits, so take 3 and name them like

CAN - Spec ops
CAN - Support
CAN - Rifleman

And then change there weapons and skins maybe even model.

That......actually........isn't a bad idea. In some battles armies join together to work together to secure something more effectively. BUT don't do it to all the maps, maybe just desert non-PLA maps.

yeah ive brought up both of those ideas

cant remember how the coalition forces worked out but as for canadians i really cant see it being that hard
just basically change the shoulder flag, the m4 is pretty much the canadian c7, m249 is our c9 etc...id fight as canada everytime id play

Not in service as of now but they did have a couple from 1946 to 1970. But it doesn't mean they can't put a decomissioned ship in, Essex is decomishoned.

This mod is already my favorite, but I would almost NEVER put it down if they added canada. My above idea is kind of a half-added canadian faction

If they were to add a full canadian faction here is what I would do.

Change the skins slightly keep the same models.
Give the Joint Task Force 2 aka. JTF2 the C8.
Give the rifleman and all others the C7.
Give support the C9.

Something along the lines, I dont know all about what weapons canada has and doesnt have.

Thats a helicopter carrier, I was reffering to the aircraft carrier, such as the Essex. Canada has no carrier that can launch airplanes as of now. (Well according to Wiki)

According to Wikipedia they have no INSERVICE carriers, I'm not downing Canada I'm just stating what I've found.

EDIT: This is what I found as to Aircraft Carriers in service
EDIT: The list was too long to include the acutal names so I will just list Country and number.

Brazil:1

France:4

India:1

Italy:1

Russia:1

Spain:1

Thailand:1
Though remains predominantly inactive due to lack of funds.

United Kingdom:3

I baught BF2 on the rumor of 3 armies going at it on one map......and some other stuff. But it would be awsome to have some sort of split in the insurgency (sectarian violence comes to mind).

I'll give you two.

1. The primary purpose of the mod is to add the British Faction and make the remaining factions more realistic;
2. Its a LOT of work to do and very time-consuming (6+ months to get 0.4 out remember?). We just don't have forever for this..

Holy **** six months? I am some what new to PRMM and I had no idea it was 6 months for .4, how long can we expect to wait for .41? Just curious.

Also if the Iraq military finally is, uh, founded I guess the word would be, would we see a Middle East Military that would be fighting against the insergents?

Hopefully by Christmas, but the Devs are under a lot of pressure, so we never know.
