How to view armor weakpoints

Post by Carti »

As the title says I would like to check out the weakpoints of the vehicles. I have the mesh viewer but I don't know how use that for what I want or if that is the right thing to use if I want to check the weakpoints. I'm talking about this: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... light=mesh .

Yoh by the way this was something l always wondered, this the angle of impact influence the amount of damage dealt?

So weird to sometimes hit a BTR with a AT4 in the side and suddenly he is burning just to do the same to another one and see him just sparkling

Angle has no effect, only the the spot where the impact lands has effect on damage. That BTR probably took .50 cal or terrain damage beforehand.

You can also use BFMeshView but that's not so easy to see cols with and use and I would recommend the BF2 Editor as others have over BFMeshView but BFMeshView is a much smaller program etc.
