Server Rules

1. All squads must be named according to roles (CAS, MEC INF, INF, TRANS etc.)

2. No squads locked under 4 players.

3. No using assets as either a self taxi to the battle, one man tanks or cas (ones with only one seat is an obvious exception)
and no wasting assets.

4. Commanders, Squad leaders, Crewman and CAS must use voice chat (English only please).

5. Any issues involving players or bans please contact an admin on Discord.

6. Teamkilling happens, but those who teamkill repeatedly will be removed from the server. Repeat offenders will be banned.

7. Any abuse to either other players or admins, of any kind, will have you banned. No excuses.

8. No Air Assets used until 10+ connected players.

The server is currently offline and I do not know why but we seem to have lost or server licence for some reason. Currently waiting to find out why.

I did a cleaning of licenses to get rid of inactive ones. If I removed yours while your server was active I apologise. Please re-apply for a new license and ill grant it asap.

Hello. This is a great server because I get such low ping (<20 a lot of times). Thank you for hosting. Also thanks for fixing the mumble and enabling voting.

However, I was wondering if we could have required # of players for map vote reduced, and ratio of votes required to pass reduced as most of the time one cannot vote nor pass a vote. As well as infantry-only maps reduced. Also one can't tell which layer is which in the map vote list, as all iterations have the same name. Is there a way to indicate which layer each one in the list is?

I find the big asset maps attract players but then everyone leaves usually when it changes to infantry ones.
I would really like to see Kashan Large layer edited with a stupid amount of tickets. This would keep the server pretty active imho. It sucks having to go to German servers most of the time to play.

I have taken your suggestions and spoke with my admins and have gone through with the changes. I believe we have removed most if the infantry maps and reduced amount of players needed to vote. Cant find a ratio-vote option but I will keep looking to see if an option for that exists.

Not sure how to change just one map ticket count without changing ALL of them. I could increase all maps a fraction so other maps don't get to unbearably long. I will take a look into all options though.

And as for the Discord link, I forgot one of my Lead Admins deleted all the links for a reason I cant remember so we had to make new ones. New link is now posted in the post.

Awesome. Thanks a lot for great response!

As far as ratio, or percentage, it seemed like it was around 75% or something close to that. (i.e. if 20 players are on server, 15 required to vote yes) which is hard to reach as a lot of people don't bother to vote.

Also can map names that show in map list dropdown menu be edited to show which layer they are so we dont end up voting for the wrong one/having to memorize which ones are which?

No Problem.

Been looking in the server configs and not found anything that relates to voting ratio's and I don't believe I can change the map list drop down menu. I could be wrong ,I just don't see any options to edit these.

If I am able to find out how I have no issue in looking to get them implemented as I do like the idea.

another idea i had for maps was having Opfor option, where we're not always on NATO side. would be nice to fly the hind's and such.

Not sure how to do that as the only real options for maps I have are in the map list. They are shown as;

mapList.append vadso_city gpm_coop 64
mapList.append albasrah_2 gpm_coop 32
mapList.append operation_marlin gpm_coop 32
mapList.append hades_peak gpm_coop 32
maplost..........

There are a few maps where you do play as the opposing forces but it seems dependent on the map and who the enemy is. If there is a way to make it so we can play more of the maps on both sides, I will certainly add them.

Just had a rash of teamkillers on the server a couple hours ago but I wasn't able to log on to the discord server to ask for an admin thanks to that silly phone # requirement (out of the 10 discords I am connected to this is the first time I've seen it). It kept saying my # was invalid.

Sorry about that we had a rash of spam recently so we temporarily increased our moderation. This should not be back to normal.

As for the teamkillers unfortunately we cannot do much atm however if it happens again and is the same persons involved get to us if you notice it and we will resolve immediately.
