Corrupted file when trying to install the game

So when installing the game, it first gives HTTP status 500 notification and after a while the progress halts due to "BF2\mods\pr\content\objects_statics_client.zi p - An error occurred while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted"

I can either abort, retry or ignore. Ignoring completes the setup but can't launch the game.

I did a clean reinstall for BF2 and installed 1.41 and 1.50 patches.

I came across this thread https://www.realitymod.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=130969 where someone shared their own objects_statics_client.zip but the download isn't obviously available anymore.

Did you try to install the game on a copy of Battlefield 2? You don't need to do that.

I downloaded prbf2_1.5.0.0_full via PRFB2-Download-Assistant and ran the setup from that ISO file.

I am not entirely sure what you mean but yes I have vanilla BF2 installed on my PC.

And did you install the game on the same folder? You don't need to.
