I like PR, but community/admin abuse like this is ridiculous

Aright peeps, let me give you a small dose of PR “drama”

I don’t have the time/energy to type a whole essay on this, so ill TRY to keep this brief. Project reality ..is awesome. I love the realism, squad comm with mics, and the raw power of weapons.
In most of my PR games(90 – 95%) I don’t have any problems with the community/admins. Even faced with a good stat like that, bad experiences just want to make me say forget this and quit PR. I don’t want to deal with a bad community, and that’s half of the reason I quit league of legends(my most played gam ever)

Summary of what happened: I Got kicked from a PR game on HOG server because I didn’t understand admin broken English grammar. He basically gave me 3 warnings about something I did, all of which I was confused about as he wasn’t using verbs and nouns right. When I asked him to clarify, he decide it was easier to kick me. I Rejoined the server, and respectfully and politely argued with admins to see why is it so hard to clarify. I then got admin killed. That doesn’t seem right.
My access to certain ammo type was denied(AP, COAX 50mm) on the APC, giving the only APC squad(my squad) a competitive disadvantage against the other side.
I’m aware that it could be a bug, but after I had gotten admin killed it didn’t seem out of the questions that the admin would do something like this.
if you look near the end of the video, you’ll see that bonecruher admin admits to cheating/not letting me use the ammo.

I can post of longer version of what happened if requested. But the summary nicely sums up everything that happened.

After the match I rejoined the server hours later to see if I had got banned. To my surprise I haven’t. I actually had a very good experience in that match as this awesome guy joined my squad and we were able to help the team by using APCs. Same thing happened in the next match. With the right[random] people PR is so good! Anyway, hopefully I don’t get banned from the server by expressing my opinions about some of HOG admins. I feel like I should post on their forums asking for an explanation but I don’t see alof of good coming out of that. Im a kind hearted person, and dislike drama, so this is beyond me as to why they would do something like this.

As I replied on the Youtube video before you even posted here, that's a bug and its impossible for anyone to do that. There is no such thing.

You entered an APC with no gunner and started running over enemies half-way into the map without being in the APC squad.
Good on them for trying to warn you. I would have insta-kicked you.

I don't see that. You got wrecked the first time by a LAT and the second time by an LAV that flanked you when you basically yolo-wasted the MTLB + BTR driving into 2 APCs and 2 full squads on the enemy side of the map.

I mean he literally said they did that after I asked...how do you expect one to interpret that in this context? How is the bug caused? Maybe the admins caused it to happen.

Not sure how you did that, but thanks again for checking. Why would you insta kick?

As for runnign over enemies, en route to team location after I drove the apc out of ship, I found an enemy that was beside the fence. Thats why I ran him over. Its not like I drove to enemy main location then YOLO ran people over, thats a troll thing to do.

As for entering an APC with no gunner, there was no APC squad, so I though APC were free. In my matches Ive came across scenarios like this were there were no APC squad yet many people still used APC. Heck my last match under permission of squad leader he said it was oka for anybody to use APC as there was no APC SQUAD

My reason for driving APC solo was to find a gunner so we can help team. At the time , I though slots 1-9 were filled so I got in a random squad. Thats how I was warned about making the apc squad, which was confusing per reasons above, but I did that based on his suggestions.

Sorry, but thats incorrect. Those times I was APC squad captain and had a squad member get into the APC with me. Im not sure how you cannot see that information. First time we died we believed it was by enemy CAS as it flew over us.

Second time yes we were flanked by LAV. We were relying from intel from our team on its psoition then sought to kill it, which ended badly.

Since it was me and my squad memeber it was not YOLO. Please don't assume that about me. We didnt get much accomplished but we did play fairly with the APCs.

3rd time we died was by enemy LAV again if I recall correctly. We were right next to it and were firing on it, but unfortunately lost the battle



Im not sure how you couldn't see I was admin killed, but that happened. I dont have a recording of that unfortunately. If that admin had clarified what they were saying then ofcourse would have followed warnings but like I said before he kicked me as I asked him to clarify, which is frustating

It is so easy to say that but what about them admin killing me and me not having access to APC ammo? From what i skimmed online it seems that HOG admins really have a bad reputation for themselves, so that explains their actions lol. I honestly would have thought that adms/players would get along considering this is such a small community.(what I would have gave to play this game when it was popular but that's going off topic)

EDIT: Also I mentioned in my post about multiple squads using APCS even if there isn't an apc squad and not being punished. Am I missing something here?

Yea things like that are why I feel weird defending HOG, but their actions here were appropriate.

When you say action were appropriate I assume you mean the first kick and not the admin kill. We can agree to disagree about the ammo not working.

I'll start reading the rules of the servers in full and try to follow them to the letter. It seems that I should act like Im on thin ice with [any PR]admins, to reduce the chance of being kicked/banned.

Can someone experienced with PR elaborate on one of the things I mentioned in my post? About squads taking apcs even though there is no apc squad/if there is one?Not sure what general consensus is on that one, Id hate to drive an apc is squad leader says its fine and then later insta banned. i rememebr someone in gaem saying the MTLBs cannot be claimed, seeing as how they are basically a more armored humvee/jeep.

No, we cannot. I know what causes this and there's nothing server-side that can be done to break it for you.
