Finding squads with talking team mates... what's the trick?

95% of squads I join don't talk. At all. I don't see the point in playing the game without using mics. Maybe I am just going online at the wrong times of the day. Can you tell me times when you usually find people playing that actually talk?

I was on the HOG server most days of this week somewhere between 7 pm and 11 pm GMT-5, but literally nobody on the server was communicating through mics every time I tried. Not even the guys with HOG-tags...

Edit: When squads with "MIC" in their name are not talking it gets kind of ridiculous. Is there maybe some bug with the voip? I also don't get the 'receiving voip' icon in the bottom corner.

There is something wrong with your audio setup buddy. Maybe 10% of players don't talk even at the worst of times. Even the non-english speaking players will talk constantly in their own languages.

Yea, I ran the mumble auto configure function and that fixed it.

Best time to find a good squad is at the beginning of a round and learn to recongize good squads by their specific names to find good ones
