How do I Install PR from new? Just bought a new computer and not sure what patches to install.

battlefield 2 does not have to be installed for PR, it's completely standalone.

Download from https://www.realitymod.com/downloads with either the Assistant or direct Torrent. After installing the PR Launcher will download all further patches for you.

be aware that sometimes you run into an issue when the game is installing and just click yes. sometimes it has an HTTP error or something like that when installing...there was a thread about it somewhere on the forums
