Life in Fallujah jan 2020

Fallujah is a city in the Iraqi province of Al Anbar, located roughly 69 kilometers west of Baghdad on the river. Fallujah dates from Babylonian times and and it is fucked up now.

Around 60 ppl live here and we have the highest suicide rate this side of the Euphraties. Things are so bad we live in dog houses.

Sanitation is poor and our street kerbs are exremly hard to get over.

Sometimes i see bodies in the streets right next to a Yamaha.

No one works together to build anything here anymore, people not coming together to overcome their obstacles. All communication seems to be down despite so many cell phones. Last week we were going for some mint tea and all 8 of us died without even a sorry, in my little blue car (has great sun roof)

Pardon my blaspheme, but I had the most memorable experiences in Fallujah maps in both PR and Arma (2), once in Arma stranded with legs wounded, crawling all the way back to the FOB, slowly, covering every LOS that emerged - joined in the last 15 minutes by one friend covering my prone retreat.

Fallujah (anywhere) is Urban Warfare Trial-by-Fire. You learn to move one corner at a time, scanning every new line of sight from street level to windows to balconies. Met a Russian once, while doing my thing, one of my best online friends to this date, was my Fallujah Battle Buddy.

Long live PR, and long live Fallujah maps in games!
