coop over internet, w/o login to main server?
Is it possible to for me to play with my bro without necessarily logging into online server?
Is there a way?

yeah, you just download hamachi, make a local game. have him copy the ip address from hamachi put that into join ip in pr.

Re: coop over internet, w/o login to main server?
ok so my bro has online account and he hosted and i tried to connect and it showed " host version was newer " message.
I tried to host he couldn't see my server.
So i suggest he creates an offline account to try. we're trying that now.
Also:> does mumble work? I try to open mumble from program files .exe seperately and it just CTD if i click any of menu options. I don't rmember it doing that before (i've successfully opened it before).
do i need to reinstall?
Edit i have succesfully connected to his game, woop!

Mumble isn't going to magically work without a server.

Re: coop over internet, w/o login to main server?
It's really simple
Both create LogMeIn accounts on hamachi (can be done in web browser on logmein.com)
Person who will host PR server, creates "client-owned" server on hamchi (asks to specifcy server name + password)
Person who joins Host enters server name + password into hamachi, after successful log in, start pr and "join local".
FYI: Last version of hamachi to work with XP is 2.2.0.633 - So i got other user to download same version just to maximise compat.
I also load up mumble and hijack a random unused server, bingo works (not a fan of TS/discord)
Thats it, works.

You can skip the whole hamachi business by just using an online account, once you solve your XP issues or switch to a modern OS. Create "Local" is a lie, the server is fully joinable with IP.

Re: coop over internet, w/o login to main server?
For some reason maps under Create Local (those w/o bots) dont appear in my brothers browsers, but maps under co-operative (those with bots) do.
However i noticed asad khal aas alt does work if launched from create local, but notice that that map and specifically that layout is also available in co-op...
So is there any reason why most Create local maps aren't supported over LAN?
I think maps have to be coded to be...

I think I remember something with the server browser. Something's hardcoded with it to not show Skirmish maps

Re: coop over internet, w/o login to main server?
Thanks for clarifying.
Re: this below, is there an easy way to make it appear in browser at all (convert to gpm_cq / gpm_coop)?
Keen on 1v1 with my bro on it over lan if that is possible.

Map Layers that involve skirmish over a single building complex should defo be featured more in PR, for sake of CQC training / seeding purposes. Absolutely awesome / over looked layout.
PS I got that from screenshot of 'map gallery'. The viewer is insanely well implimented, kudos devs!.
