[1602] Tank Team-kills don't count as Team-kills?

Post by The_Turkish_Moose »

Description:
Twice today I was killed by a friendly tank but for some reason it did not count as team-kill and I was given a death.

I believe this may have something to do with the new way tank shells are handled (with the whole net code update to resolve latency issues).

Maybe you didn't realise this at the time because the you developers probably were not busy team-killing each over.

I hope you can fix this issue because friendly tanks are now as dangerous as enemy tanks! Thanks!

It's actually the main part of every testing session.

Anyway, that simply can't be true afaik. Teamkills are not counted as deaths, no matter what weapon is used. Support your theory with a proof, like a tracker. Otherwise it's pointless.

So I managed to find the match and watched it back and you were right. I was actually killed by an enemy tank almost 600m away which shot at exactly the same time as the friendly one next to me.

My apologise. In my head I thought this issue could of been related to the new way vehicle projectiles are managed.
