Is there any plan to revise the current graphical depiction of damage to vehicle in PR? I'd like to see tanks that dont explode and turn mostly black and on insta-flames when hit but would prefer to see them look mostly intact with smoke that slowly turns to a small flame then a raging fire. Is this in the works or even possible? Is this something desirable?
There would be other benefits too towards reality if say you came around a corner and saw a tank there that was abandoned because it was destroyed and unusable yet it appeared to be (for the most part) viable.

Realism and fun aren't mutually exclusive.

All I want is for vehicles to not magically turn into charred vehicles when hit and explode. Sometimes they don't even explode, they just turn into the charred model and it says "you were killed"
We need violent explosions to be animated. explosions with billowing balls of fire engulfing the vehicles.
Explosions like these

Naw it's not really possible, if it is, it would create lag I imagine, or an even bigger file then what we already have. It's the limitations of the BF2 engine.
