What are stone markers for?
Really, what are they for? I searched through the manual and I don't remember seeing them

Rock balancing or marking IEDs. Mostly the former by bored insurgents.

Mineral: TIL that Wire-guided missiles actually use wire

I guess you could use it as a mark for IED's, when you place it in the terrain it would be difficult to tell if you are far away...

Maybe make them more visible. Make them stick out more. Add a red line to the rock or something. This would allow the classic "is this mark legit or not" mind game.
Right now the majority doesnt see them anyways so even if you mark something for whatever reason, barely anyone notices

They are pretty useless since everyone on both teams knows what they are if you are driving or walking and see one.
If anything they are useful maybe to trick someone who sees it to think there is a mine there.

Yes, you can't know for sure if it's really an IED mark (which could be placed around the mark) or a distraction, I have not see them in use anymore to be honest.WingWalker wrote:They are pretty useless since everyone on both teams knows what they are if you are driving or walking and see one.
