I'm representing a group of friends who regular play BF games: BF Vietnam and BF1942, and sometimes, BF2. I'm the person responsible for hosting a private server for our game nights and since I learned about Project Reality was pretty keen to set up a private server, too.
So, I registered here and requested a server license. A week later I still have no response to my request. Have the project admins stopped issuing server licenses? Is the project still alive?
Is there any other way to setup a dedicated server? Can I use BF2 Linux server files to do so?
I don't care about internet/socialising/ranks/tournaments etc, this is purely for private use for game nights, we're not looking to play with people we don't know as we typically play Co-op against bots in a Net Cafe.
Is the project dead?

It's not dead, it's just me! Opened your message on mobile and then forgot about it. License issued!
Sorry for the delay.

Thanks so much, appreciate such a quick response.
I will set up a server this week and we'll give it a go.

Ouch, 90s nostalgia hit me hard. Haven't seen one of those in a while.DarkWingDuckB wrote: (...) Net Cafe.
