Failed linking to the Launcher

I got this problem after actualiced the game, it goes normal but the screen gets dark (i can use the interface and that) and it shows that message for a minutes or indefinite time, i can move the character, drive, shoot, etc...

(If i move to another tab, and come back to the game it disappear, but comes again in seconds)

(I'm playing on COOP)



I give it a look on the forum but i didn't get answers or something to give me an idea but, that didn't work

This happens if the Launcher is unable to interact with prbf2 for several seconds in a row. Please post your system information.

(I don't have graphic card. I use the cpu integrated graphics, the game runs fine for me with that specs)

That's a CPU with one core (with 2 threads). That's below minimum specs.

Set PRLauncher.exe to higher priority in Task Manager.

edit: Nvm, its a 2 core. Do you have any anti virus that might slow down communication between launcher and PR?

Started having this issue since last update (not the hotfix) never had that before ever ... happens randomly dispear after few sexonds only happens 2-3 times a round at most come back to normal screen really fast pretty weird. Annoying when in a firefight. I have AVG anti virus but i disable it when playing PR

Can you post your system information as well and do other Launcher features work without issues?

• the marker updating on compass
• iron sight focus zooming in smoothly
• blur activating when using optics without delay
• passenger counters updating
• mumble working as expected.

Disabling that kind of anti virus probably does not remove its windows hooks.

Ill post me specs soon btw launcher other functions seems to work fine no issue with the list you provided. I just did a deep defrag (SmartDefrag from iobit) of my laptop last night already 4-5 games this issue haven’t happened so looks like defrag fixed it for me.

EDIT: The defrag definately fixed it for me haven’t happened once in the last 6 hours
