They said the laser made the gameplay not as good. pfft i want it!
as for vehicles i think in the same regions as weapons. More the better.
it would be cool to choose a class and have 4-5 different styles of gun to choose from but that all have only one good thing about them and are unique to that class. then obviously better weapons as you progress up the ranks.
top pistol being a .44 cal deagle
. 50ae are more for fun than practical use.
We need Augs too imo.

i think the unlockable weapons feature should be taken out, no getting better weapons for getting more points, since in real life they dont give you better weapons, they give you weapons that fit your class, maybe there will be one marine with the m40a1 to take out enemy soldiers but then another will have an m82 for taking down APCs, it doesnt mean one of them has killed more enemies its just what they were assigned.

The unlockable weapons should be changed, and be avalible to everybody. Certain weapons for certain missions until the number of weapons is at max. For instance you could switch between a M249 or M240 but only until the max number of the M240s were reached and then you could only use the M249. It could be used to realistically model a platoon or sqaud etc.

However in PR, it would most likley be useful.
no i actually recall reading there forums from an official response saying it turned down gameplay. but anyway i still want it.

grenades are more useful then a laser guided missle....?
more proof DICE woudnt know a realistic game even if it was the worlds most popular game and tottally impossible to ignore .... cough AA 3.5 million active users cough...
I think the original idea behind the laser designator was this:
when you are the copilot in a jet with laser guided (or what dice thinks is laser guided) bombs (although they are more like missles in DICE land) you can either pick a target with mouse, click, fire weapon, and then the missle sort of goes towards where the mouse is pointing (you have to keep the mouse on the target, which is very difficult when flying at mach 1.2)
or
you can get the missle to lock onto targets, and then it follows on its own.
now, the lock on thing seems to work for every enemy vehicle witha guy in it. im guessing it used to be only targetable like that if a spec ops guy has lazed it in the last 30 seconds.
which is fairly realistic, excpet that the spec ops guy (i think) would need to keep his designator on the target, if he put it away b4 missle hits, strike no workey.

hmm, my understanding of how laser designation worked was that spec ops spots a target, which paints teh target a certain color, probably red, this makes it easier for the pilot and copilot to spot, also it shows up on the map, then they swing by and destroy it, i could be wrong though, the last laser designation video i watched was well over half a year ago.
