Looks good, if it is this is high poly, Looks okay to me. But the fire control unit doesn't has the foam around it.
Plastic toy version

I hope texture makes it look like this.

Rear end cap is looking a little large but otherwise nice work!
Also what version of the javelin were you aiming for?

I don't know maybe the new version. I think the only difference is in the tube

It looks like you're making the early version which tbh is fine, gives us a little more flexibility for factions and theatres etc. Could you post the latest wip?ANW1173 wrote:I don't know maybe the new version. I think the only difference is in the tube

I think the UV is fine, but might be a bit too tightly packed. Specially when the mipmap versions are generated you might get some slightly bad results.

Re: [WIP] FGM-148 Javelin
indeed some are generated like objects that are a bit difficult but not all of them. I use the tool to pack everything so it's a bit messy but fully packed.Mineral wrote:I think the UV is fine, but might be a bit too tightly packed. ok then i'll add space for the uv so it's not too tight
thanks for the suggestion.

Re: [WIP] FGM-148 Javelin
Can you post more pictures of styrofoam covers? In your first post the one on the rear does look too big.
Also the covers are not 100% round, but have a flat spot on top
Here they rest on that flat spot:

Further references for the rear cap:
https://youtu.be/CfXf98FglTo?t=10
https://u0v052dm9wl3gxo0y3lx0u44wz-wpen ... nistan.jpg
It is closed until missile is fired. The missile ignition destroys the middle part. In 1p this wont matter as you never see the rear, but in 3p would be good to add the middle part.
