None of the servers wanted to play it because it wasn't a "real" map. I'm not that much of a reality snob, and I'm a big one.
I liked the tactical experience it offered.
I don't think any server played it out with a full populations to know if it offered good game play or not.
It would of been a good change up.

It would make for a fun and popular event better than a standard rotation map for any server, IMHO
Someone should run an event with it now and then, give the designer some love and the map some actual play time for all the work they did.

You would only need a server to throw it on once in a while.
Maybe make some smaller versions like INF or Skrim.

yeah flat earth is not the worst map it should definetly be still be played. i remember people voted for it quite a lot when it was in rotation

You guys missed out bringing it back for April 1st this year. All those new players. It wouldn't have been new to us, but new to them.
We need to do another massive influx, but this time with skills. Show them the goofiness of PR with flat Earth. Then we need to show them also the goofiness of using skills like grazing fire, camouflage, playing dead, getting up in trees. Things that get us excited to do or have it done to us.
They need to learn skills so every match looks like its directed by Michael bay with all the shooting and even more shooting from people knowing how to survive. Playing dead turns Project Reality into a horror game, its a jump scare. All the shooting makes it epic, which leads to one side having to play dead when it gets dominated.
I one time drove a Chinese jeep over to the US moon launch pad and launched with them by waiting for the count down and the first guy to launcher.
