Voice chat form other servers on lan/coop

Post by SebySKT »

So yesterday when i got in PR i decided to play on Test Airfield to have some fun with bots, but when it was loaded it connected me to the voice chat from the server HOG, and i had some fun as being the ghost of the server because they won't see me in their squad and i also was enable to be the squad leader and talk to the other squads and i could take actions like accept commands form the Commander from my lan server
It happend on 3 December 2022 at 11pm.

Thanks for the report. We are aware of this bug, but its a tough one to fix. When it happens to you, I highly recommend restarting PR in order to prevent this. Talking in mumble without being on the server is an easy way to get admins angry.

I had a similar event yesterday. Trying new bluetooth headphones and logged on to HOG but heard other squads talking. Restarted the game twice but issue stayed.

Then I stopped using my bluetooth headphones and plugged in regular USB headphones again and issue was resolved. Doesn't mumble somehow support this?

I fixed this bug once when I use to use my old bluetooth headphones, it's something to do with the hands free talking stuff that bluetooth headphones get when connecting to windows PCs. I think you need to disable the hands free audio device in sound settings.
