There is a bug when you go prone position near deployed assets while recieving bombs from enemy CAS - you stay intact. Played the German side, me and my squadmate survived direct bomb attack on superFOB.

More likely the pilot just dropped his bomb from too law altitude for the bombs to detonate. It will still destroy assets but won't hurt infantry.

In BF2 you only get damaged if parts of your body have direct line of sight to the center of the explosion. If you went prone in a ditch, the chances of surviving a bomb increase by a lot. This is only true for soldiers, not vehicles. Vehicles also take damage through walls and terrain without line of sight. Why it is implemented that way, is one of the quirks of BF2
