Kafr Halab is my favorite map in all of PR. But it is unfair towards the Insurgent team on AAS layer. It gets so frustrating that people on the Insurgent team will just rage quit instead of playing as said Insurgents. Most people switch to the FSA, because they want better kit. Something needs to be done. If you're not going to revamp the faction. Then please do something to make it less painful to play as an Insurgent on Kafr AAS. It's a wonderful map and I want the community to appreciate it and love it as much as I do.

In my experience, currently players don't use provided pickup kits on insurgent side.
Same for assets.
For the next update AAS Inf switched to syrian rebels vs hamas.

Pickup kits are hard to acquire. I only know where to find them in main. I dont know if they exist in the wild. Can you imagine what a pain it is to drag an RPG all the way from main to kill a BMP? Building an SPG is technically easier, but much more time consuming. Assets are less of a problem. I think that FSA has a slight disadvantage in the techie department though.Rusty_42 wrote:In my experience, currently players don't use provided pickup kits on insurgent side.

But the big problem lies with infantry. Those red head scarves are like giant shoot me signs for Insurgents. It's far easier to recognize the enemy by upper chest kit geometry, than by looking for red armbands or lack thereof.
Hmm. Sounds interesting. But dont you think that hamas will have an advantage? 5.56 AR vs 7.62 AK, Iron sight, Unarmored factions. 2 shot kill to the chest for both weapons. Except the AR has less recoil and a greater fire rate.Rusty_42 wrote: For the next update AAS Inf switched to syrian rebels vs hamas.
What I love about kafr is the 7.62 AK vs AK gameplay. It's so organically balanced. I wouldn't mind if both sides were Syrians using the same weapons and kits with just different colored armbands.

Your obsession with AK vs AK is gonna get you in trouble in the long run man. Besides that HAMAS is mostly AKs anyways so I see no need for you saying that HAMAS will have an advantage because of the few M4s they get. Even if they do, it doesn't matter that much the gameplay will still be roughly the same.dcm wrote: Hmm. Sounds interesting. I should point out that switch to hamas was made some time ago before this topic.

How so? Both factions having the same or similar gear doesn't bother me. I'd much prefer it to be honest. Because then, all variables are accounted for. And only the skill of the team counts.Coalz101 wrote:Your obsession with AK vs AK is gonna get you in trouble in the long run man. FSA get one spawnable AR15. Hamas gets Five. I do believe that in the all important PvP, Hamas will have the advantage.
I'm excited to see how hamas performs on the map. But I'm sad to lose the Insurgents team. I think the problem is that Insurgents team is just not built for AAS at all. Their entire design is centered around resistance and sabotage. Not PvP. Shame really. The faction holds a special place in my heart.Rusty_42 wrote:I should point out that switch to hamas was made some time ago before this topic.
