the only differences between Militia and Insurgents is the ability to request kits as they're more "organized", having a wider selection of vehicles (MIL has the BMP-1 and T-62, INS only has technicals), having the Mosin Obrez and PPSH-41 and rocking old school Soviet gear (with beanies, M1 helmets and gas masks as seen in one of the screenshots introducing them in the ModDB page)
though skip forward to Squad, the supposed successor to PR, things have quite changed and so have the tables have turned for the two well known unconventional OPFOR factions
the Insurgents now have the Militia's PPSH-41, RPD, Mosin Nagant, as they also have gotten new fun stuff like black humvees with DSHKs, more vehicles, and a Hell Cannon, meanwhile Militia got...nothing, literally nothing at all except what they already have (AK-74s with 1p29s, M4s with M68s, FN-FALs, RPG-29s, etc.)
even the one and only major difference being the vehicle selection has been made irrelevant (since Squad insurgents now have MT-LBs, T-62s, BMP-1s), and Militia has been left in the dust forever called as "Ins without the cool stuff" or "Rus with bad gear"
