Al Basrah needs more Layers

I like Al Basrah. I really do. But, As good as the map is; I am exhausted from playing the map over and over again, with the exact same equipment, in almost the exact same way. I believe that Al Basrah, would benefit greatly, from the addition of more and different layers.

USMC: The throwback layer. Bring back the Marines, with all of their classic assets. A-10(if it's still possible), Cobra, LAV-25, Etc. Give the insurgents appropriate counter assets. Except have this as an iron sights only layer. To really get that Project Reality .506 feel back.

MEC: I think it would be cool. Just like MEC on Fallujah.

I did suggested once MEC layer for Al Basra on forum, as alternative layer to British one, but suggestion didnt pass for some reason.

In my suggestion, MEC would have combination of T-72M, BMP-2 and/or BMP-1 IFVs, Boragh APCs, AMZ Dzik-3s, Mi-17 and EC635 Eurocopter CAS choper.

I still think a classic usmc layer would be best. To get as close to that .5 basrah feel as possible. I dont think a mec layer is a bad idea. It's just that the scoped g3 is so damn powerful against unarmored foes. That even in mec iron sight layers, the spotter kit dominates. So the only option would be an iron sight layer. And I really hate the g3 on iron sight layers. Personally I'd love for the mec to have an AKMs or Chinese 56s on their iron sight layers instead.
