Re: Bug while starting game
First of all, update Windows 7 to the final version(s) - SP1 is WAY OLD!!!AK-47 wrote:pls help me i have pr over an year on my pc and it still doesnt work
Next, install the dependencies linked by Suchar.
Finally, install PR and play.

Re: Bug while starting game
I already told you, update Windows 7 to latest version, install the missing dependencies as directed by Suchar, and it will work. Following instructions will be key to us helping you - if you are unable or unwilling to follow these steps, there is not much more we can do to help.AK-47 wrote:it makes the error at Windows7MSU.exe file

Re: Bug while starting game
You might have to reinstall windows, ideally, just upgrade to windows 10. Win10 IoT LTSC is super duper light while still having all the functionalities like antivirus and the updater module. Look up on archive.org for the ISO file.AK-47 wrote:it makes the error at Windows7MSU.exe file

Re: Bug while starting game
Or, you know, just install latest W7 updates
PR is still working just fine on mine W7 SP1.

@AK-47 - On this note:

In addition to your own third party security and safety software, you can also run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to ensure nothing nasty has slipped through the cracks:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/intelligence/safety-scanner-download?view=o365-worldwide
...after you have completed all the steps for each of these procedures, if Project Reality still will not install or operate properly, reinstalling Windows may be your only choice - and as stated above, no reason not to install Windows 10 unless somehow your computer is too far below the system requirements (yet somehow within the requirements for Win7).
If updating Windows (and installing the missing dependencies) still does not allow PR to install or work, before reinstalling Windows, you could save a lot of time if it is repairable - you should run the Microsoft File System Checker (including the DISM steps), following each instruction step-by-step in this guide:PvtNewb wrote:You might have to reinstall windows...
