I was just wondering when I started playing PR. It was around the time that mumble was changed from being able to hear enemy's to not. I remember a few games where the teams were trash talking one another.
Anyone remember which PR version that was?

That must have been pre 1.0 where Mumble was not integrated the way it was today. Back then each server could decide themselves whether they wanted to talk to enemy or not. You also had to switch yourself manually to the correct squads.

Thanks. Yes, that was it. On another note...not sure local mumble shld work when dead/down? Would it even be possible to adjust? Like the current not being able to type to living players when wounded/dead.

Not having local mumble is a sure fire way to make a medic's life hard considering calling out in local is a major part of helping a medic to find you. Also makes it hard for you to alert your teammates where the dude who killed you is.Tommygun wrote:Thanks. Yes, that was it. On another note...not sure local mumble shld work when dead/down? That was my point. I'm not sure dead colleagues should be telling you where the enemy is...I mean, you dead... Medic might have to use the map a bit more for healing.dio_brando4 wrote:Not having local mumble is a sure fire way to make a medic's life hard considering calling out in local is a major part of helping a medic to find you.
