I have this problem after I bought a new PC, when I click on play the program does not run it disappears even from the task manager, I have tried without the antivirus and so many other options but it did not work, do the developers already know what the solution is?

Send the whole support info here. That error message is only a result of the crash, not the cause of the crash.

I had this problem a while ago. I fixed the problem by performing a clean install of windows, using microsoft media creation tool.

From C:\Windows\SysWOW64? That's the hash of 64-bit version of the file, which is right file in wrong place. Replace it with this: https://files.realitymod.com/support/d3dx9_43.dll

In addition to that, it's recommended to reconfigure OneDrive so that your Documents folder is stored locally. PR might fail to start when it's profiles folder is on OneDrive. You can still have OneDrive installed and running but Documents should be stored locally.

Then go to Start -> Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics -> Add desktop app C:\path\to\prbf2.exe, and make sure it's set to high performance + best GPU you have.

This next setting is relevant only after you get PR running but I'll add it here already. By default Windows does not recognize prbf2.exe as a game, which might cause slowness or problems especially with AMD processors. It can be fixed with Game Bar. So, when you get PR running, press Win-G to launch Game Bar, open setting and select "Remember this is a game". Make sure process name is prbf2.exe when you do it.
