Wow, now you can get a bad game for free! Maybe they looked at how good PR is and got scared...

Whaha, they need the money so desperately. Feel bad for the shitty game though. It has potential. Maybe if they had worked on vanilla BF2 better and supported the community, they could have been as successful as there previous games. Cuz let me tell you, they make cool games sometimes.

What's all the hype about it? The only thing I ever heard of it is it had a bunch of spy ware embedded in it. Other than that everyone I knew (from my old clan) loved it.

I'll never get it anyway, but did I miss something?

Ha....EA'ssholes I've still got your bf2142 demo still zipped and unplayed on my desktop and I damn sure ain't gonna noble you pigs by trying out your full "free" game ya bums. You burned me with BF2oob and if not for Project Reality the disk woulda become a target for my mac10 a year ago.

Typical trial. Lots will keep it once going to all the trouble to install, etcetera.
I wouldn't bother to install if they gave it away free - Forever. Not my bag.

Yeah, I uninstalled the last demo after playing it for 2 rounds. I may try this one out, on the off chance there's something worthwhile to the other maps. But a big part of why I disliked it (aside from the arcade play style) is the lack of AAS.

I got a keycode today, but haven't bothered to download it yet.

I played the beta and played it on a friend's rig.

I really wish EA had back ported some of the changes into BF2. There is some stuff in 2142 that would really, really improve PR... but I have about as much interest in supporting it as a mod platform as EA does.

i downloaded a copy of this game, and i really wasnt impressed with it at all. Of course i could only play single player but in comparison to PR it doesnt evwn stand up IMHO. I only played it for about 6 hours then i decided i didnt like any part of it really.

its not all that bad of a game, it was a lot more fun when there were glitchers and stuff though believe it or not.

now its just boring and repetetive.

right, everyone.

The way to get the demo IMMEDIATELY is to install EA DOWNLOADER and then pick the game demo to download inside the window and it will come down for you as some wierd files that you then click on the name of the demo you downloaded inside EA Downloader to install, it takes ages to unravel the files it got down and then deletes the original files (so, you'll need some space on your C: drive!)

once installed, you can delete the installer files anytime you want Simply go play by desktop shortcut.

I believe there is one map and can play in both Conquest and Titan. The servers are full of newbies and the gaming is musical flags on the Conquest rounds.
