More handheld thermals

Post by Vicious302 »

Last suggestion I swear but getting them all out of my head while I'm thinking of them: ADD MORE HANDHELD THERMALS. It's been 3+ years since this feature was released, I just stumbled upon it and I just can't believe it hasn't been added to more things yet, seems like it would drive in a lot of players. and I'd bet a good amount of players still don't even know it suggest, this was a MAJOR BF2 innovation and you guys barely announced it, which was a cool way to do it at the time but now it's time to shout it from the roof and get the player count up so the servers are full around the clock for us NA gamers. For those that don't know, thermals were added to the HAT Spyke kit and nothing else for some reason.

If it has thermals give it thermals. But we don't even use the 3 TOWs to begin with... To increase player counts we need to showcase videos full combined arms warfare, 6 Super FOBs with 3 TOW, 3 AA, 6 or more HMGs, foxhole spacers for the emplacements making cover.

The loud firefight below, one side dishing out trauma and the other side eating the trauma. Its fun to be both as long as it feels like a big battle with lots of noise, visuals and mind games.

Super FOBs and vehicle assets support each other. Come out of main start of game, then the whole team does 1 super FOB per squad.

1 super FOB per logi from the start on last defensive flag as if the map was designed that way, but you are designing a victory. 2 logis, 4 logis, that gets 2 or 4 super FOBs down right away.

Let enemy have every flag except your last flag so you have time to prepare. They never will know or expect they were going to run into 4 tanks and 6 super FOBs defending each other.

Area attack only touches one FOB, they can't place super FOB when you have 3 TOW watching them, 3 AA preventing any supply runs to enemy in view distance.

Your last flag is your best flag. Main base is right there, no vehicle goes far and dies, it goes to its mutually supporting super FOBs with logi repairs as medic for armor.

1 Man per piece of cover, Move cover to cover. In view of each other to save each other by shooting, distraction, division of enemy attention and ammo. 1 man hit per RPG/tank shell/mortar spread formation full time. Edge of cap zone. Use camouflage, police up each others exposure, no man seen sticking out. Scan aggressively with eyes and ears for anything suspect, even for birds disturbed to fly out of trees
