PR:BF6 ?

I have been playing around with the Portal and Godot tools on Battlefield 6.

There is definitely potential for modding Battlefield 6 into a more realistic experience.

- Would there be any appetite in the team to explore this?

- Would the community take issue with a realism mod clashing with the original BF2 realism mod?

- Would BF6 players even understand the realism angle?

PR in BF6 would be a dead-end project. The most realism possible would be changing weapon damage and having fixed class equipment. But there'd be no way to set up a kit system like PR's, no new spawn mechanics, pretty much everything that makes PR what it is.

The best a realism mod can make for BF6 is turn it into Insurgency Sandstorm with vehicles.

If the Devs want to move PR out of the BF2 engine, they'd more realistically do it by making it from scratch in a new engine (like Squad), or make it in a game that allows for greater modding capabilities, like Arma.

I'm no Dev but to my best knowledge there is no terrain editing in BF6. Thus no new maps would be possible. So before doing anything else, the most important thing should be finding out what else is not possible.

There is server in BF 6 similar to PR with no hud,ff,slow spawn etc. Code:ypd95 Is often full.
