Re: DoD
I could come up with a plan to block IDF into DOD with roadblocks. I could also come up with a plan to break out of it. If they lock you inside DOD, you need to use area attack, then tank with Namers and the repair APC.
This is why everyone should super FOB the DOD exit, especially maps like Gaza. Right where DOD line is, that is where emplacements should go. J5 Gaza and M6 are the spots to make super FOB lines wide.
FOB is RPG bait so built every asset, 1 shovel per emplacement, gets 6 or more emplacements done digging at same time. Before digging you need armor security overwatch and suppression to back them off.
Tank is to dump ammo into areas they can get shot from until they know enemy is there starting from DOD to hit roof tops, the angle for cannon on roof tops is off, but you have every tool you need, you just need to figure out how to use it.
Even if you took an RPG gunner down, a rope on the opposite side enemy climbs, they pick it up.
Game starts, secure the DOD entrance, bait enemy with the super FOB, extend the super FOB down the highway. 2 HMGs, 1 AA, 1 TOW. Do super FOBs 200 meters apart.
You use the AA for extra rockets, some foxholes on side of road and a razor wire gate with vehicle opening. Crates in DOD all the way to the emplacements.
Urban Warfare is rough, you can pre-fire and suppress all day, but enemy will move behind buildings and onto roof tops. They will put SPG in alleyway waiting for you to drive by, RPG from above.
Everything needs bullet and explosive pre-fire. People play Project Reality like they aren't trying to survive. Give LAT and grenadier a crate, launch at the trouble buildings. Easier said than done.

1 Man per piece of cover, Move cover to cover. In view of each other to save each other by shooting, distraction, division of enemy attention and ammo. 1 man hit per RPG/tank shell/mortar spread formation full time. Edge of cap zone. Use camouflage, police up each others exposure, no man seen sticking out. Scan aggressively with eyes and ears for anything suspect, even for birds disturbed to fly out of trees
