This should be really good. I am however, giving maistros an updated version of albasrah which he can use in battlerecorder. So the map lighting/sky, etc will look different to what you played with. Suitably confusing I hope. hehe.

How can I get the original albasrah map ?
I lost it when swapping files around and I don't want to resintall the whole game to get it back.
Any hints or tips ?

erm, reinstall to a different directory. so open up the .4 installer and where it says eagames/bf2 change it to mydocuments/noobtoob or something, then you should be able to find the level foler in there without having to reinstall the whole thing.

alternativley, check the recycle bin?

Yeah, but you have to expect that the Allies always win in Western media. The exception is that movie with Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford about the IRA. Although, in a way, the US did win in the end, but sympathy was drawn for the IRA.

You are right, its a nice movie, buuuut its to much vanilla. In the PR film the sounds will be better, I belive.

never said the IRA was the good guys but your beloved SAS crossed the line more than once and the Special Powers act kind of laid the groundwork for the oft bashed Patriot Act.
The Irish problem was not exactly England's shining moment and it's got enough history that both sides should be ashamed of.

The book is about an american tourist who gets his family killed by an IRA bombing, loses his mind, makes a tailored disease that only kills women and releases in England, Ireland and Libya and then goes back to Ireland while the disease is still running it's course.
It kind of indicts all sides at the same time and it's at least 15 years old.
