Uniforms?
I think that the uniforms of oficers, such as squad leaders and comanders should "stick out" more for snipers, seeing that is normally a snipers prime target. also could the snipers egt beter camoflage, in real life snipers can move in quite closely to enemys without being spotess, right now you are lucky to not be spoted a mile away. maybe diferent maps could ahve diferent camo, like weapon loadouts, on a map in the jungle they should have very dark green and balck type textures of camo, and on a desert style map, sand color/ desert grass type color, because now the camo seems to not be efective as it should be, and seeing snipers are limited now, u need to be able to survive longer because of how hard it is to get the thing.

well, yes, but there is always a way to tell the diference, like maybe ranks could be plaed on the uniforms, like LT bars, or capt, baars or a majors leafs, and a commander could be wearing a diferent uniform all together or at elast generla stars or something. i still think snipers suits should match the gorunds of the place they are fighting in.

IRL a LT looks the same as a PFC, a general looks exactly alike to a PVT. Only thing that sets them apart is if they are stupid enough to want to, and the 10 or so guys on their security detail following them around.
In combat situations saluting doesn't happen, and short of having a hubble space telescope you aren't going to be able to distinguish the LT bar from the SPC...thing (what's that called by the way, besides sham shield). The easiest way to pick off a SL in game is just shoot one of the group, and see if someone spawns in a half minute later. Although with the new officer kits, who knows, maybe they will get a different weapon or something unrealistic like that

They're (probubly) getting the same weapon as everyone else, but will have some swish thingymadobrey which they can use to enhance thier abilities, etc and so would be spotted while using said thingymadobrey and eliminated.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

I believe its a patch on theiur shoulder or helmet that distinguishes it.Hawk_345 wrote:I think that the uniforms of oficers, such as squad leaders and comanders should "stick out" more for snipers, seeing that is normally a snipers prime target. also could the snipers egt beter camoflage, in real life snipers can move in quite closely to enemys without being spotess, right now you are lucky to not be spoted a mile away. maybe diferent maps could ahve diferent camo, like weapon loadouts, on a map in the jungle they should have very dark green and balck type textures of camo, and on a desert style map, sand color/ desert grass type color, because now the camo seems to not be efective as it should be, and seeing snipers are limited now, u need to be able to survive longer because of how hard it is to get the thing.

i still am prety sure that they have some sort of identification that would give them away, like what balckhawk said, a patch on their shoulder, i know they try to blend in but there is always something, so basically in PR now u get more points if u hit a squad leader by chance, but thats not what im looking at, im looking at the spawnpoint ability, there needs to be someway to go agaisnt that.

in combat dress you are not going to be able to pick out a squad leader from an officer from a private. you are better off shooting everyone you see the searching their uniform for some type of insignia.
and as for the commander i believe he would be a colonel, not a general. a general would be sitting in his office sipping coco, not anywhere near combat.

Any rank insignia are very small, about one square inch, and "subdued," meaning they are non-reflective and blend in to the camouflage uniform. You will just have to tell them by their behavior, or if they pull out a pistol.Hawk_345 wrote:i still am prety sure that they have some sort of identification that would give them away.

British army officers use this form of DPM epaulette when not in dress uniform:

It'd be difficult to see that in a combat situation, covered in the straps of a bergen or webbing and dirt (yes, commisioned blokes get dirty too) without the target being in the perfect position, probably relatively close to the sniper. Not impossible but certainly improbable
