 imagine ea getting sick of the complaints.... ah, what a great thought. if only it would inspire them to do what we want instead of deleting all the posts with negative comments.

May I ask what you'd need a zip line or grappling hook for in BF2?

Anyways, IMO the SEAL's could work as the Marine's SF and the SAS being the Brit's. I know that the entire british military isn't the SAS, and the marine's aren't all the SEAL's. But they said they hadn't changed the classes around, so aside from some "super special new abilities" I haven't heard what's so great about it. Just my opinion though.

the seals are navy not marines, the marines have force recon teams, thats really their 'special forces' although all marine units are special operations capable. so really in PR, SAS should be the whole british side on a map, and the seals or forcerecon or green berets should be their own side as well. since all of those units have their own demo experts medics, support gunners engineers if needed and usually snipers.

yeah, but really if that's how your gonna do it how are you ever gonna put in the specfor class? i mean, sas is british specfor. sas has snipers/medics/assaults/support gunners. so what'd be the specfor within the specfor? that's a little too much imo.

who says its going to be structured the same way? FH's classes changed every map, if there was a map with just force recon or SAS the specfor guy could be a demo (he carries c4).

usually SF troops work on their own, not mixed with other units (unless its a larger operation, and even then, they act to set up the assault by larger forces). so there could be a map with conventional forces, ie the british army or the US marines, then other maps could feature force recon or SAS exclusively, each with their own medic and support classes.

Hmmm... seems they've added a bit more than I(we?) thought.

*Night Vision
*Dynamic Doors/Elavators
*Bat Hook

As long as PR can impliment these features I see no reason to give in to the EA pig dogs! They are the source of all evil!!!

Well, shit, guess we won't need that P226N model. Oh well, the SAS uses the P226, too, so that won't go to waste. :)

Navy- SEALS
Army- Rangers
Marines - Force Recon
Airforce - Combat Controllers

Coast Guard-... never mind.

I'd hope PR would have SEALS and Rangers in some maps, would offer an amazing gameplay level if the thing was done right. Hell a port of DC Oilrigs would be awesome, with MEC controlling the rig and a SEAL team attacking it.

wanna enlighten me on what that is?

iv also said in the past i think it would be great to tailor specific maps to specific units

IE an Airborne themed map make the classes
Para Assault
Para Medic(no pun intended)
Para Support
Para Engineer
Para Marksman
Para Saper(in place of SF)
Para AT

the same thing could be done for SAS, Seals, Armored Units

maybe slight alterations to the skins IE Paras Maron berets
may sound complicated but if you make one Model of a british soldier with a beret you could skin the beret a bunch of different colors to change his unit (sand colored for SAS, Maroon for Paras, and so on)

SIG-Sauer P226 9mm pistol. Contender for the XM9 trials but lost to the Berretta on cost. At one time the standard sidearm for FBI Special Agents, it was also adopted by the US Navy SEALs and they ordered a special variant, the P226N. The British also acquired them for use by special operations forces and type-classified it as the L105A1.

Seen photos of Royal Marines, Paras and soldiers of other regiments on patrol or manning checkpoints in their berets, but not the SAS. In the desert climate, those must turn into convection ovens for your skull, though.

EA and DICE can go fornicate themselves with an rusty iron spear. They don't care at ALL about the players, only about the money.

Its the fact that stuff advertised on the box and website was removed and put in the expansion pack that makes me annoyed with them.
Not only is it falce advertising but its just cheap on the players.

I really hope PR can overcome there expansion pack by 1 no 10x better gameplay and realismn.
