What game i need.

Hi, am new here so.. do i need Battlefield 2: Special Forces to play this mod or is it better if i had the expansion pack or it doesnt make any differents.also is it better if i had the latest version patch to play it or i need some kind of patch to install this mod. ps i dont have this game yet.i dont have Battlefield 2142 cos of the spyware it will install to my pc. thanks

BF2 1.41 is all you need.

You just need BF2 patched to 1.4
