Final day to vote for PR at Moddb.

Post by Evilhomer »

Today is the final day to vote for PR as MOTY on the moddb site. If you think PR deserves the top spot please visit http://mods.moddb.com/4338/project-reality/ and vote.

We would especially appreciate aswell if you could take the time to join the moddb site, as guest votes do not count within the voting, unless there is a tie between mods.

Many thanks in advance!

The Project Reality team.

i hope your hopes aren't up, but there are only 85 people watching the mod. chances are FH2 is getting bf2 mod spotlight :/.

if it makes you feel better, I voted for PRM.

FH2 has not been released, there fore it is going for a diffrent award that PR is. It is going for the unreleased mod of the year, where PR is going for the released mod of the year.

so don't give up yet, don't let the registration put you off, every vote counts!! ;)

Funny how there's only 85 ppl watching PR and almost 300 watching FH2. But there's a lot more ppl playing PR ;)

FH2 would be in the unreleased mods category.

I doubt any BF2 mods will win any awards, there just aren't many people playing them in comparison to other mod platforms. But can't hurt to give it a shot ;)

You can also vote for up to 3 mods, so vote for the other Black Sand mods Eve of Destruction (unreleased) and Operation Peacekeeper if you feel those mods are worthy MOTY material.

Thanks for the support guys!

It seems unlikely PR will get up there in the all round rankings, anyone who's played HL2 knows that their mods just can't be compared with (the mod kit lets you do just about anything with the engine), but I think it's safe to say PR has a good shot against the other BF2 mods and can get the top spot in that category. Even if BF2 mods aren't a specific category, doing better than the others will be nice!

yep exactly. the HL2, and other engines are alot more mod friendly and acturly the play base is willing to play mods as they don't have a ranking system etc to keep them stuck to the main game...

But as for BF2 mods, I think PR has a really good shot :)

FH is the sleeping giant. FH2 simply has a gigantic player base. Why arn't they playing BF2? cuz they are still playing the 42 version. Thers at least 200 ish people on FH at any given time. When FH2 comes out, most of the 42 FHers will make hte switch, and a lot of new bf2 players will play also.

Still voting for pr though! IT is teh b3st!
