Idea for a 'realistic' medic system

Hahah, that would probably really mess up everything even further. Repeatedly CPR'ing a guy with a 50.cal slug hole in his chest might not really be possible either.
WAIT!
We haven't discussed wounds that are terminal. I mean, if someone got shot in the chest by a tank, there is NO way they would survive, and should therefore not be able to get medical help. Same with headshots.
Here's a more realistic idea.
There's three degrees of wound in game:
1: Easily treatable - very high rate of recovery.
2: Needs surgery - 50% chance of recovery.
3: Death - No chance of recovery.

How about;
When a soldier is wounded any nearby soldier can grab him and pull him to a place where a medic can work to 'revive' the wounded trooper without having to work in the middle of a firefight.
While the wounded soldier is beeing pulled his respawn timer is suspended.
What good will this do?
My suggestion goes on with this;
A team that uses the above tactics for wounded soldiers will recieve additional teampoints.
A team that does not, just won't get any teampoints for "TeamMedicalCare".
Medics will still receive teampoints for their class whenever they use their medics kit regardless if they use the suggested tactic or work as usual.

I think some basic changes could be made...
A) Reviving will bring a guy back with like 1 bar of health, not full-health. You don't go from 15 seconds away from death to fully healed from a single shot from a shockpaddle!
B) The healing process should take a lot longer.
And some observations:
Don't know how many people have seen it but on CNN there was a story about a soldier who got sniped by Iraqi insurgents -- and it was all videotaped. But here's the interesting part. The shot FLOORED the guy, but he got back up and ran to the other side of the Humvee... later it showed a small tennis-ball sized bruise on his chest (the shot actually hit almost Right over his heart) and some damage to his flak vest but otherwise he was fine.
This made me re-think my complaints about unrealistic weapon damages.

and does it actually say he used a 'sniper rifle'? if so, what kind?
a sniper can be anybody sniping... they don't need a sniper rifle (though it helps a lot)
but yeah, conventional armor wouldn't stop a round like that, only plate armor would, and to my knowledge, we don't have much of that.
and about the body shot not killing: if 1 body shot wouldn't kill him (lets assume body armor is working), why would 3?
you can tell i just love health bars...
kill them all! use area specific damage that makes sense!

Support have MOST armour of them all...
Snipers amd Special Ops shouldent have any if you think about it. But i dont know.

I reckon you should be able to pick what you want.
1. armor and low speed.
2. no armor and run like a mother.
I only say this because there is really nothing in BF2 that allows you to custom/add/remove shit from your kit. maybe having that feature will make me feel a little more ummmm........PROFESSIONAL

who said that? there should still be suicide...
and for realism's sake, add an animation! lol, we could have the animation be the guy pulling out his pistol and blasting his temple to smithereens...
what was that samurai mod for 42.... oh well, the little knife you had, left click was stab or attack, right click was kill youself by shoving the knife into your torso, and you could always see the animation with the orbit cam...heh
