Get rid of the Silenced Mk12?
At the moment the Mk12 snipe rifle sounds like a paintball gun i say get rid of the silencer and make it sound like a real rifle... im loving the m24 though.

I for one would love the M14 as DMR. Not as officer as they are just outfitted with normal rifles, not specially outfitted or anything. the Officer kit should just have a normal Rifleman kit plus binocs, minus Ammo. Maybe more smoke, but more for pickups and airsupport markers. They aren't snipers, but if we gave the DMR to them thats what they would turn into. The Officer kit would be cool to have a Garrison Cover for the USMC team. Then other team snipers can pick them off, making another dimension added to the game and making the Officer keep his head down. Mabe have a M4 with less mags. THey aren't supposed to fight unless the S**t hits the fan. If he ends up fighting it out he isn't doing his job right, he should be calling in support, directing fire, that sort of thing. Maybe 3 mags with one in the well too, a total of 4.

I hope that the original plan for DMR and Sniper is realised in the next build. All maps should have a full sniper available (less available for urban maps, but they should still be available). And all maps should also have the DMR kit available too. There is every reason that dedicated marksmen should be available on large, open maps as a support for squads in long distance fire fights and engagements. There's no point having an urban and outdoor skin if the M14 is only available on urban maps. Oh, wait a minute...

All i care about is the crosshairs. If the M14 has better crosshairs in its scope than this Mk12 then go for it. Personally i think the L85A2 with SUSAT is more accurate with it's scope than the Mk12. The Mk12 is too weak aswell, 5.56 is annoying for a DMR. Takes 3 shots to down an armoured target. Not fun for a DMR with limited ammo.

If the target isn't moving then it's pretty easy to get a headshot, and well with the very limited amount of ammo I won't be wasting my bullets unless I'm fairly sure I have a kill. (so I do aim for the chest too, but only if I think I have the time to make those 2/3 shots so I kill him)

The Officer shouldn't have the M14. That's just how it is. Otherwise the players would just pick the SL kit just to snipe if they can't get the sniper kit. That would not be good, a bunch of people just steal all the Officer kits so they can snipe when the people who need them don't get them because of that. That and the fact that it is completely unrealistic.
