This is a question and a suggestion....
Why dont players sit in the seats of the hummers? wouldnt it be a little safer?

your welcome to make us new ones and import them for us if you like?77SiCaRiO77 wrote:the current humvee with tow (like the others variant of humvees) its like the current british soldier : bad shaped
the TOW hummer came from USI with us being part of BSS, really it just needs a 1p model as its using a 3p model when you are inside it, so the stearing whell is low pollie etc.
the brit player models where made before BF2s release so considering that they wheren't even made with any pollie guid lines i think they have been made pretty well considering.
They are still going to be tweaked at some point thou be we have more important things to do at the mo.

The ATGMs were removed from the APCs because only one of the APCs/IFVs depicted actually has them, the BTR-90, and it is not in full production. To my knowledge, it has yet to even reach a "first-unit equipped" status in the Russian Army.Mekstizzle wrote:Who needs a Hummer with a TOW. The aircraft and armoured vehicles have it hard enough. Plus you're removing the TOW from the APC's, so why continue to have the Hummer w/TOW?
A light scout vehicle with an ATGM is a threat to armored vehicles if used properly, but will most likely be slaughtered if seen first.

first off, i actually don´t see how the "fact" that the btr-90 "is" not in service in the russian army would be an issue at all, seeing as we are talking about a fictional middle eastern coalition army'[R-DEV wrote:Eddie Baker']The ATGMs were removed from the APCs because only one of the APCs/IFVs depicted actually has them, the BTR-90, and it is not in full production. secondly, there are about 80 active btr-90 source: http://warfare.ru/?lang=&catid=245&linkid=1789 (that site is actually pretty awesome, for msot vehicles it can even tell you where they are stationed and stuff)

Yes, a fictional middle eastern coalition army that exists in *checks calendar* this year, in whatever alternate reality DICE decided to pinch-off with its creative rectal sphincter. And we wouldn't want people bitching about how the APCs are now symmetrically imbalanced, now would we?dunkellic wrote:first off, i actually don´t see how the "fact" that the btr-90 "is" not in service in the russian army would be an issue at all, seeing as we are talking about a fictional middle eastern coalition army
If it's true, then you learn something new every day.dunkellic wrote:secondly, there are about 80 active btr-90 source: http://warfare.ru/?lang=&catid=245&linkid=1789 (that site is actually pretty awesome, for msot vehicles it can even tell you where they are stationed and stuff)
Good point.Animalmother wrote:Why does my thread close and this doesnt?
