I've never found the need for a pointman...everytime i've been a SL or a grunt in a squad our squad has always stayed together. Most of the time, someone just takes the front anyways (Most of the time the SL) But usually hes covered by 1-2 Specs, Assaults. But if my SL told me to be Pointman, id do it :D
