Ah yes, Tactical is very correct. That is why they call it 'fast roping' after all. Fast roping is nearly a free fall experience, until the very end where you slow your descent before hitting ground. The goal is to get down the rope as fast as you can. Thus making insertion as quick as possible without exsposing the operators or helicopter crew to enemy fire.Tactical Advantage wrote:
What are you talking about, fast roping is used for quick insertions, and it can be done in seconds, havent you ever seen video of SEALs, etc. doing fastroping, they can have a team of 6 or so on the ground in seconds, plus with PR making helicopter physics more realistic, if you land, it's gonna take awhile to regain enough downward force to lift off, leaving you open to enemy fire.
