Who is going to read that while playing? :-?

In game text is needed for a lot of reasons so shouldn't be hidden away on a page you would only access when dead.
The spam messages like "medic", "blah blah spotted" and so on would be away and make the HUD cleaner, also a little red flash can be added down in one corner of the screen when some acually writes something (good for intersquad comms).

No mercy for non VoIP'ers!

I'm against the score board being taken away.

It's the only way ingame to spot is anyone cheating (ie a score of 60-1).

If the scoreboard goes then the kill confirmation message should come back.

Had a situation a few days ago where I'm fairly certain 2 people in my squad were using aimbots. I wouldn't have suspected anything until i saw their scores (60-3 & 30-40 for 3 i think).

Now that's not really your job now is it, leave that for admins and PB, pluss if are REALLY certain some is cheating you would still see that after the round.

Now this statement only proves that you want scoreboard for the ability to confirm kills without having to use visualisation and teamwork.

Read what I said on the top of this post.

PS: People DO acually get scores like that on rare ocations without cheating.

Good points..........but admins aren't always active and effectively the game world especially the mod world is self policing.

If gamers aren't on the look out for cheats (and cant even suspect them if there's no K/D scores) how can you even say to an admin to keep an eye on a player?

It'd be better if in game you wen " ADMIN please look at player XYZ his stats are incredible can you have a look at him in case?"

Problems solved in 5-6 mins rather 2-3 rounds

Is it not a bit late to wait till the end of a round to go "hang on that score looks out of order, well i suppose I'll let them play another 2-3 rounds before I'm sure"

There's no such thing as a perfect world and to keep cheats out you ve got to have a mechanism for spotting them and I'm sure people do get those type of scores occasionally, IN THIS INSTANCE however I'd 2 guys who knew each other and were in the same place with MASSIVE SCORES knocking guys off at a rate I've never seen.

Keep the K/D screen else your leaving the door open for cheats.

If you get a good server there wouldn't be any problems with that.
