It would be cool with any kind of training map.

But formation and tactic training (just basis procedures) would be awesome. The future battles would be much more balanced if there were some training in formation and tactics. Cause then entire squads wouldn't be annihilated as much as they do now.

It’s hilarious and sad in the same time, to watch entire teams using the mass assault tactic, well known from WWI, against the same enemy position again and again. Especially when the enemy team actually uses a squad or two in defence, while the rest of the enemy team flank the bulk of the hilarious frontal assaulter's.

Over and over teams not being successful in their attacks keep on doing so, instead of recognize they need to defend instead. Some teams are just not attack capable.

To many tickets lost for nothing in these frontal mass attacks = frustration and TK level rising plus an unbalanced outcome of the round as a result, producing player’s switching teams in numbers in the next round, which again produces unbalance.

When the entire team defend (a rare situation), u often see a flank or the rear completely open, cause the defenders again uses the mass doctrine, were everybody defends from the same position only. Resulting in large numbers of kills if any enemy arty strikes or the flag behind gets lost anyway, cause the perimeter around the flag was undefended to many places.

Hilarious mechanism.

The question is of course what should a tactical map course contain? Could it be done? scripted?, mapped? Would it take too much unnecessary energy for the DEV team in doing so?

Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

I think your right. Games would be much more fun with trained players. This map is a kind of investment in PR. It will help the game to run smoother and give everyone a much better time playing.

Just use the IE abc spelling function on the forum. It’s placed precisely above of the cool smiley, when you use the advanced edit option.

I think somone :D could start out by making a small training map..

One with a few flags...

With a field
A road to cross
an area to defend. ect.

Or start making formation cards like these in photoshop

- Like how to cross a road - or what this formation means - and does..
And the reason squad needs to stay together to have more fire power ect.

How to do a line formation in-game - would be to look at the radar - and place your caracters so they form a line..kinda

Wow that looks cool! We just need a mapper! I will help with anything that I can, but as I said I am no mapper. I really like the formation cards idea. Imagine if that became univerial. So your playing in a squad (of corse you are its PR!) and you hear over the voip you SL say "squad, defence formation one" and everyone knows what that is and where to go. Now that would be WAY cool! Like I said I will help with anything that I can, but sadley im not a mapper.... sooo....anyone?
