nostalgia
I don't know about you guys, but me, I feel a lot of nostalgia for good old BF 1942 sometimes.
So I was wondering, would it be possible for one of the songs for PR to be a modified, more Hanz Zimmerish version of this song?

Not that I want to go back to play it. Once you taste reality you hate vanilla, (or previous iterations) after all, but I wish PR would have a little taste of 1942 to it via that song.
ah, memories.

I'm all for a better theme song. I hate how they butchered it in the 'mec' and 'china' versions.
the only good version was in the ORIGINAL trailer that came out in like 2004, back when the MEC looked middle eastern, the m4 sight aimed through the iron sight and acog, the black hawk had missle pods, muttrah city was waaay cooler, soldiers dropped thier guns when they died, not insta-appear bags, the ragdoll physics were good, the levels were full of active physics objects and the guns were realistic.
so im all for a better song.

haha I remember thinking to myself "are people really flying those? flightsim AND counterstrike? can video games really do this already?" At first I really did think they were computer controlled.'[R-DEV wrote:duckhunt']Yes I love the old theme song! I want that for an intro to a map/ the game!
I too remember first spawning in on the wake island 42 demo, the japanese zeros zooming overhead, ahhh. F7 F7 F7

Ive been trying to think of the word that best described vbf2, and thanks for finding it for me. Commercialization. And its getting worse as the series moves on.JohnnyPissoff wrote:As is vBF2 is at best a hybrid game that stinks of commercialization.
