Ok. simiular to other topics/suggestions but improved a little.
For those who have experience with target shooting/combat shooting and have had any training or gathered this through experience they will know about breathing patterns.
Suggestion:
We all agree on weapon sway etc and when your aiming we agree on some sort of hold at the end of each breath. I dont think this would totaly fufill any long range shooting because it would be like waiting for the frogs head to pop up and bash it with a hammer or in better terms the guy pops up and you cant shoot because you havent paused just yet.

We need to be able to press a button even if its just the 'sprint' button when in the prone position that enables us to hold our breath for a period of time (even if its only 10 secs - allthough not exactly realistic) to get a good shot in. Thats how real shooters do it and thats how we need it in Project Reality.

Agreed

I've gone out and done some long range shooting myself, and breathing does affect your accuracy a notible amount, didnt Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell Games use a method like this, where if you hold your breath, your scope stabilizies... Either way, this would be a nice addition to PR.

in long range sniping youre breathing and heart beat make youre scope move around alot.

Well thats not realistic fully because no matter how slow your breathing is when your lungs fill with air it allways causes the aim to move slighly out - heartbeat also but only when its very high.
When you shoot at long range you breath in filling your lungs with air thus giving you a solid base from which to shoot - you hold your breath until the shot/shots is fired. Obviously it has more of an impact when your on the ground as it makes your body raise up but standing it also does the same effect becase the butt off the rifle should be very firm in to your shoulder. when you breath your gun moves with your lungs. I think we need a 'hold your breath' button because its realistic and shouldent be hard to implement.

ya, DCR does it very well, i think the movements just need to be exagerated a bit
