ya poe2 was a big dissapointment imo, probably because in terms of the realism i soo love, it just doesn't stack up against pr, even if its finished and has nicer looking maps. the gameplay is too vanilla ish. poe for bfv was a big shocker, it was realistic... but this just isnt.


irt osf: Sweet! very glad we have more servers. I think the pr community is 2nd in terms of population, and we are only losing to FH... .5 is gonna rock your socks off!

thanks for the kind words about OSF PR server. We are happy that there is another BF2 mod out there. You guys did an awesome job with team work and such little things as not showing ammo and need of a medic if you are wounded to not die.

BF2 mods are pretty low in player population, so we tend to rely on a small community and good quality servers.

I too am looking forward to FH2, should be epic

That said, I'm a bit jaded on WWII themes, but perhaps they can breathe new life into it for me.

I've really been enjoying your mod since we started a server for it a few weeks back. Project Reality rocks! I especially love the fact that you don't really know if you zapped someone or not unless you see them unmoving on the ground. I also like the object mode game play that concentrates the fight in one area of the map and demands coordinated team play.

I'm looking forward to the next update.

As a Member of OSF I would like to thank you guys. One for the kind words, and two, for bringing me back to play the battlefield series again. I had bf2 for a while, but I never really cared for it. Then I saw we were getting a PR server and figured I try it just to see what it was all about. Now, I'm playing on our PR server all the time. Elements from this mod are what bf2 should have been all along! Thanks for filling the void!

WEll any chance of producing a mini mini realism mod for FH2 , i know realism is upped alittle but i think the PR community would really support a more realistic version. Basic stuff like sprint, crosshairs, recoil ext.

I know this almost certainly wont happen, but the thought is nice.

I think FH2 is already a bit more realistic then FH, in the ingame videos I've seen the weapon moves like in Red Orchestra, which means a crosshair is useless (+the guy playing uses iron sight only, maybe there is no crosshair? Let's hope...)

Played on the OSF server the first night it was active - had a great time and it seemed to run well. Haven't had a chance to get back yet, but I will.

Ya I would play PRM but I get laggy as hell when joining a map. I heard lag was fixed for .5 I hope so. I o so do so love this mod.

If you are lagging on all maps.. not sure what the problem could be. But if it's map specific or situational.. we've fixed a bunch of lag issues and should be much improved with v0.5.
