Yes you get a sense of what things mean after a while. But just the same, you're going to make the odd mistake about what exactly it means. For instance, the spotting. With always enlish turned on, if you see a guy, you spot him right away. If it says "enemy troops" or "hostile infantry", you fire. Otherwise he's friendly. Nice, simple, and most importantly, really fast.
If you do the same except it's in Mandarin or Arabic, you have to stop for that split second and think about whether or not to fire. And once out of every bunch of times, you're going to mess up and TK.
All english eliminates all confusion. And if we instituted accents too, it would also allow you to know if that comm you just heard was friendly or not.
