its just so ****ing gay when your team cant hold **** and everybody ditches mec to go join the m4 club. i find my self in a situation where i feel like **** it im going to take as many of them with me as possible...
thats not how pr is meant to be played but im getting that feeling more often, its not always the m4s but the big rush of vanilla rambos on the main servers thats annoying me so much recently....
you should make new players read a guide or manual as compulsary before they play... cant you add something like that to the shortcut where you have to at least have the manual page open for 15 mins before the game executes for the first time?
so sick and tired of these people ARGH"!!!!!!!!!

That...would actually be pretty gay. Ohh and also more than likely undo-able as everytime you open PR you'd have to read it.jackal22 wrote: you should make new players read a guide or manual as compulsary before they play... cant you add something like that to the shortcut where you have to at least have the manual page open for 15 mins before the game executes for the first time?
I noticed a lot lately you do get your "retards" and vanilla nooblets but you will have to live with it. PR will only become more popular, and us "Vets"who want to play it properly will just have to deal with it. The devs can do jack about who downloads the mod.

You're most probably a noob

I usually start a VOIP squad and 9/10 at least get a squad with some sense. Getting an entire team is out of the question just now though. Gone are the days of 0.3 where you would jump on a team, have a commander talking to you constantly and push the enemy back to the last spawn with 200 tickets to go.
Just now you have to read what the other squads are doing by watching the map. Which when it works, its works but its still a *****.

I think admins should have the right to question people if they have read the rules. even ask them "what is a violation of rule 4?" if they deel the need. If they havent read up, then the Admins are entitled to kick them from the server.

I have no idea what rule 4 is about, not even sure if I have looked at the rules that much, I just know how to behave and play as a part of the team even without any rules & guides.Mongolian_dude wrote:I think admins should have the right to question people if they have read the rules. even ask them "what is a violation of rule 4?" if they deel the need. Overall, well we just can't get rid of the vBF2 noobs, there will always be them. And though I'm really looking forward to 0.5, I think that the noobs will always find a way to show their noobness.
You know what would be cool, a password protected server and the admins would give out the password to people who they think are quality players. Though that might end up so that either there wouldn't be enough players who get the password so that we could get a good game going on, or then someone would leak the password and the server would be full of noobs who want to show how good they are by spawncamping againt quality players.
But thats what I've been wondering for some time, how cool would it be to have a server which would only accept teamplayers?

You know what would be cool. If people would be thankful for having FREE servers to play on. I like your VIP server idea. Do you have 200+ dollars to rent one for a month?
I know ECGN servers pride themselves on being new player friendly places to play. We would NEVER kick someone for being new. That is a one way to get empty servers fast. I would rather kick a vet that is cursing out a new player. Then the new player with 3 tks.
