Former M1A1 Tank Gunner US Army looking to help REALITY

Post by Tankerrob »

Howdy guys.
I am just newly discharged from the US Army. I was a 19K10, that is an M1A1/M1A2 tank gunner. I remember everything about the beast because we had to be able to effectively perform in the 1)Drivers hatch, Loaders hatch, Gunners Station, and Tank commanders position. I feel I could help you all out with the mod in the aspect that I know the tank and that I was an 18X before hand, (Special Forces Recruit). Anyhow. I have ALOT of freetime to dedicate so please reply and let me know if I can fit in here.

seeing as how Req has responded very favorably to people with large military knowledge im sure you could be very helpful, Req has IMHO put together one of the best (if not the best) technical advisor staffs I've ever seen on a mod,

hey, its nice to have people here who acutally has first hand experience . I was wondering when you were in an M1A1, travelling at full speed, and need to do an emergency stop. How long did it take the whole vehicle to slowdown to a crawl? Was there alot of inertier?

um... Hi Tankerrob!

read through the 'what do you want to see in this mod' thread to get an idea of what the community is like and what the mod will most likely be.

I've got pages written on how tank warfare needs to be changed! comments?
